The Requester accepts SIP requests over gRPC and sends them as SIP to an EdgePort. Today, the Registry Service uses it to send outbound REGISTER requests. It is written in Java and has no configuration file.

gRPC contract

target is the host and port used to build the Request-URI. For registrations, it is the Trunk’s address, and the message carries a Route header to the EdgePort. See requester.proto.

Minimal example

This command runs the Requester on the default port.

Notes

  • The Requester binds its SIP listening point to the container’s local IP and a free port, so the EdgePort must be able to reach the Requester directly.
  • routr-one does not include the Requester.
